WAKING AIDA

www.facebook.com/wakingaida

Their style, influenced by the soundscapes of Explosions In The Sky and hooks of Minus the Bear, combine with off kilter time signatures and rising electronics. Together they bring colour and warmth to a genre searching for fresh modes of expression.

ADAM BETTS

www.facebook.com/adambettsdrums

Adam plays drums for Three Trapped Tigers, Emperor Yes, The Heritage Orchestra, amongst many others.

RIIB

www.facebook.com/riibmusic

RIIB’s music is eclectic, a blend of alternative, pop, indie, math with jazz influences. The pensive and reflective debut single ‘Hello Stranger’ is one of the first songs James wrote in the bedroom period. It features coiling verse melodies, a contagious chorus and powerful golden section – driven by hypnotic polyrhythms on vibraphones and marimbas.

PILES OF CLOTHES

www.facebook.com/PilesOfClothes

Past-tense semi-acoustic folk stuff from Leeds. Debut EP ‘Songs Etc.’ out now.
