“Will most likely convert any of us into life loving and enthusiastic listeners.” – Somebody Told Me Music
After the success of their first three singles ‘Better Days, ‘These Kids’ and `Part Of A Picture` they are taking the stage to showcase their fast growing and acclaimed singles along with fresh new music.
An explosive indie rock band from Leeds, their fast-paced verses, grungy guitar riffs, coupled with catchy choruses and blistering solos will hook any listener.
Critics have been hearing the influences of 50s rock, 80s pop, and 90s revival shine through, to form their unique sound!
“Doing incredibly melodious things with the late 80s, early 90s Indie Jangle Pop. Their debut single “Bricktop” is much more than the assimilation of soundscapes from decades gone by. They’ve poured plenty of their own ingenuity into the effortlessly upbeat mix which has the right amount of rough around the edges to give the track the same nostalgic atmospheric appeal as bands such as R.E.M. Naturally, Glass Rope are a band well and truly worth putting on your radar” – Amelia Vandergast, A&R Factory
A Yorkshire based band made up of 4 old friends who are probably old enough to know better, but couldn’t resist the lure of playing in a band together.
Channelling their love of late 80’s/ early 90’s classic indie pop, Glass Rope fuse the sounds of The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division and The Stone Roses (amongst others) to craft their own brand of jangly guitar pop.
Lord Ryan and the Tops
“I was linked up to not just one but two exclusive tracks by the band, and wow I was pretty darn impressed. I admire how they have such variety in respects that each of these two tracks has its own identity” Darkus mag
A group of misfits who mix ridiculous sounds and crazy riffs. Bringing this to your ears is Frank who grunts and plays guitar, Von Smallhousen on bass, Schmurtles on guitar and Lord Ryan himself on the drums. The bands style ranges from indie rock, punk and funk with influences from the The Beatles to Led Zep to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
STEVE WOODS and the HOODS
The love child of Sex Pistols and Joy Division, is Steve Woods and The Hoods… Energetic guitar driven music with punk poetry lyrics.
