The Harriets

“I challenge you not to instantly fall in love with The Harriets. This is a song to take you straight back to youth – whether recent or more distant – in a kind of marriage of the best of Belle & Sebastian and Squeeze. A great live band too” – Glastonbury Emerging Talent

“To me, their song Television sounds like a lost classic recording from CBGB’s era New York, which in my book is high praise indeed” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

“Fine, fine songwriting” – Jumbo Records, Leeds

A Leeds-based power pop band. Having, received airplay on BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing, they were recently shortlisted for Glastonbury Emerging Talent and RSD Unsigned. Fronted by two singer-songwriters, they deal in driving, uber-melodic ’70s-inspired pop, adorned with distinctive vocal harmonies and brought to the stage with plentiful high kicks.

“A powerhouse of a band” – Soundwaves Zine
“Charismatic Band” – Geo’s Blog

A fast playing and charismatic band. Their music is a mixture of genres such as garage rock, indie and punk. Their songs are driven by loud rocky guitars, paired alongside catchy choruses and young swagger. At their live shows the band crash, rock, dance and throw themselves around the stage. You instantly know the moment in their songs when the tempo changes, and a new captivating energy fills the room.
