SOMETIME THE WOLF: absolutely *the*
SOMETIME THE WOLF: absolutely *the* UK goth rock band to watch right now. Their meteoric rise over the past year or so has seen them support the Nephs in Whitby, co-headline a jam-packed Carpe with Dawn of Elysium back in February, and now they’re ready to unleash their debut album. And we’ve got the launch party.
THE STATE: fusing industrial, rock and post-punk into a dark and tortured alarm as a reaction to the current political and social climate, they interweave heavy driven guitar with synths and samples to create a rich and varied tapestry with a goal to provoke and encourage people to question the political and social reality they find themselves in. This is their Carpe debut.
JURATORY is not like anything you’ve seen or heard. It’s not a church, or a religion, or a political party, but we will give you the truth, the whole truth and nuthin’ but the truth! Dark, industrial alchemy and insurrection set to music; brooding, raging, thoughtful, insightful, personal, political, loaded with barbs of righteous indignation, this is Juratory.
