“Note to self, don’t get a better producer than you to remix one of your tracks” – Jon Kennedy

“Song of the summer” – BBC Introducing

A live electronic band from Leeds, UK, taking inspiration from the city’s thriving house, dub-reggae and jazz scenes to create their very own flavour of EDM. They use a blend of acoustic and electronic instruments to recreate their sound live and leave them open to reshuffle their songs or add in sections of improvisation.

They have releases planned in 2018 and bookings including Soundwave Festival, Croatia.
Denton Thrift

“A dexterously crafted composition that induces goosebumps.” We Are: The Guard

“With a fresh take on Sade’s classic ‘Sweetest Taboo’, Denton Thrift are turning the groovy original into a soothing and synth-laden duet.” – Majestic Casual

They combine rich vocal harmonies with deep layered synths and environmental percussion. Built upon a wonderfully sparse sound, captivating with lacquered melodies atop a blanket of intricate synth chords.

Soon after their first release Denton Thrift were quickly scouted by Majestic Casual Records in mid 2017 for the track ‘Fear in the Night (Feat. Mared)’ and later went on to sign their cover of Sade’s ‘Sweetest Taboo’.
Samuel D

“That’s a monster of a record.” BBC Introducing, Alan Raw

New EP >

Emerging onto the electronic scene with a refreshingly, unique approach.

The way in which he blends, manipulates, re-samples and processes field recordings creates a prominent, stand-alone sound untouched by the alternative electronic genre thus far.

When these recordings are then blended with his experienced classical/ film score-esque composition and beautiful sound design, it creates music that is aesthetic and colourful, conjuring rich, vibrant mental imagery.

‘The jazz-pop duo effortlessly blur opalescent vocals with polychromatic electronic sounds that merge to a captivating crescendo’ – Counterfeit Mag

An electronic/glitchy/jazz DIY female duo that creatively blend two contrasting voices with soft yet unpredictable harmonies, whilst using two keyboards that move between different unique sounds for each emotion expressed. JOULE effortlessly invokes the audience to swirl into the atmosphere they create. Their single ‘Honey’ was played on BBC Introducing.
