Purple Thread

“It’s funk as played by a 70s’ New York punk band. It’s a raging maelstrom of sound. It is, and I mean this most sincerely, fucking incredible.” – Local Sound Focus

“Wow the crowd with their fantastic blend of indie rock” – BBC Introducing

“Leave you wanting more but only once you’ve had a chance to catch your breath and maybe a bit of a sit down.” -Listen With Monger

“Liz Mann’s vocals have much of the nonchalant hard-arse sass of peak Blondie Debbie Harry, complete with Harry’s richer tone. This is a voice that could go far.” – Halfway 2 Nowhere

“Sometimes you can hear a record and know the band behind it are going to be big” – To The Local

A funky punky glitter-drenched rock n’ roll band from Leeds. Rattling through live performances taking audiences on a magical mystery ride swirling through a genre-defying sea of glittery, groovy noise, rapidly forging a name for themselves as one of the most energetic and captivating live bands on the circuit.

Latest single ‘I’m All About You’ was released in June to an amazing reception.

“A seriously mature offering from Paradas… with ‘no holds barred’ lyrics. A definite ‘ must listen’ for all budding and established musicians”. – Sylvie Blackmore – BBC Sussex & BBC Surrey
Moretti Band

” ‘Succeed’ [has] a very strongly-defined driving beat, this is a real foot-tapper of a song which tells a down-to-earth story honestly and openly.” – PEN FM

‘’Great song if this cannot make it nothing can’’ – BDI

A band from Bradford, formed in December 2018, playing their first gig by March 2019. From this beginning they have gone on to playing at various venues across the UK, making headway in a short space of time releasing two songs ‘Demons’ & ‘Succeed’ – this band is definitely one to look out for!
