Flash Cassette are a Yorkshire based electronic duo that fuse ’80s synth pop with disco and modern electronica.
While clearly inspired by the likes of Daft Punk, Justice and Kraftwerk, these guys have a funky style of their own that has been tearing up the local dance music scene.
Their hotly anticipated second album will be released on the 28th September.
A funk, soul & acid jazz band from the Leeds area, playing a diverse range of original material and covers by artists such as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, The Meters and Vulfpeck.
Known for their super-tight, super-funky grooves, live improvisation and a dynamic, captivating stage presence – something to get that head a-bobbing, that thang a-shakin’ and dancing shoes moving.

They draw their influence from classic artists such as Sly and the Family Stone, Booker T. and the M.G.’s, as well as Nile Rodgers and Chic; from this they channel their own modern twist, to create the signature sound that is Everyday People. They work to fuse funky riffs and hooks with melodic vocals that are certain to keep the crowd moving.
