Event Details

Household Dogs will usher you into their own world of desolate landscapes and brooding characters.

Welding together elements of Americana and Alternative Rock, the group have given birth to their own gritty pseudo-country sound.

They released their first single, Basement 7 in April and have been playing shows around the UK displaying their dominant performances.

Already marking themselves as compelling storytellers with frontman Declan Newcombe becoming a finalist in the American Songwriting Awards for his lyrics, The Dogs unify poetry with riffs and rhythms to capture and draw you into a gloomy and raw reality.

‘The band manage to uniquely craft their own alternative sound that we can tell is going to be a huge hit!’ – Vinyl Octopus

Come party with this 4 piece indie/alt rock band. If The Cure and Turnover crossed over, this would be the outcome.
Thieves of Misfortune.

Sonically arresting, It’s lo fi and dirty

They produce their own music and videos and have released 4 EP’s on Bandcamp this year.

Drawing influence and inspiration from what they consider to be the greats, such as Queens of the Stone Age, Desert sessions, Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Dead weather, Iggy Pop, De Staat. Tom Waits, Can, Portishead, Nick Cave, Archie Bronson Outfit, Masters of Reality.

Are the latest three-piece indie rock band to hit the Leeds music scene.

Taking influences from Foals, Frightened Rabbit and early Kings of Leon, they fuse heavy bass lines and catchy guitar riffs together with Andy Alexander’s powerful vocals to create an energetic and driven sound.
