Sir Curse

https://youtu.be/HzrrG3btZv0

“Now this is how you make a debut. The Leeds ensemble deliver a blooming awesome first effort that is immensely catchy and enjoyably kooky as all hell. The vocals have a lot of personality to them, the guitars are cool, the twinned bass and drums are solid, the keys are delightful, and the trumpet is super sweet.”-Small Music Scene

“Proper jovial bouncy energetic awesomeness. Bizarre piano shenanigans” Ben Jekyll-Dancing with the Dead“ Sir Curse is a FULL THROTTLE mix of music and visual performance! Their style, sound and music is a genuine art form.” The Electric Radio Show

Experimenting with rock, theatre and sinister vocals. Their shows bridge the gap between theatre and live music. Best described as if Kate Bush were to join the Circus with System of a Down. The band have an on stage energy like no other. Following an announcement at Boomtown Fair 2019 they released their debut single, Tarot

DAVES

https://wearedaves.bandcamp.com

“Their set was incandescent, accomplished and full of great zest” Fungal Punk

“Each song has a very distinct quality, from frantic hardcore, through post punk and of course good old-fashioned punk rock” – thepunksite.com

“…deep into a set of aggressive hardcore influenced political punk rock, by the time I made it into the room, the vocalist was hanging upside down on the infamous girder, shouting “GET OUT OF MY CITY” at the top of his voice, which I think was aimed at anyone with fascist values. It was certainly an attention-grabbing moment to wake you up.” – Broken Arrow Magazine

DAVES aren’t just for Daves. DAVES are a three piece punk band hailing from the depths of Leeds. DAVES throw you in at the deep end of loud, raw and passionate punk daring you to question them in a provocative and empowered performance. Influenced by the angry voices of punk from The Clash to Idles, PUP, The Menzingers and Gnarwolves.

Thieves of Misfortune.

https://youtu.be/akZqhpEf_9I

“Thieves Of Misfortune take the desert jam sounds of early QOTSA and infuse it with a healthy dose of psychedelia. After one listen you’ll be addicted to their soulful melodies” – 3 Songs and Out

Dark, brooding ,heavy and hypnotic . Raw and sonically arresting. Alt rock that delivers.
They draw influence and inspiration from what they consider to be the greats (Pj Harvey, QOTSA, Grinderman, Tom Waits, Portishead, Radiohead to name a few ). Not to recreate, but to be inspired to produce great tunes.

Mark of a Thief

https://soundcloud.com/markofathief/edge-of-the-dark

Expect a sonic blend of heavy riffs, soaring guitars and melodic vocal lines from the newly formed 4 piece; formed in 2018 through a shared appreciation of bands such as Placebo, Radiohead, and Editors.

Since then they’ve been crafting their unique and refreshing sound. With a number of prodigious gigs under their belt and an EP ‘Edge of the Dark’ doing extremely well on streaming platforms, they’re already proving to be ones to watch.
