Flash Cassette

‘Flash Cassette drip with synth swag and punchy bass lines that will get you out of your seat and onto the floor.’ – Synthwave Magazine
‘Like cruising through Vice City with a boombox full of funk’ – Jumbo

A Yorkshire based electronic duo that fuse ’80s synth pop with disco and modern electronica.

While clearly inspired by the likes of Daft Punk, Justice and Kraftwerk, these guys have a funky style of their own that has been tearing up the local dance music scene.

Their sophomore album ‘II’ was one of 2018’s most electrifying projects.

They draw their influence from classic artists such as Sly and the Family Stone, Booker T. and the M.G.’s, as well as Nile Rodgers and Chic; from this they channel their own modern twist, to create the signature sound that is Everyday People. They work to fuse funky riffs and hooks with melodic vocals that are certain to keep the crowd moving.
Huckleberry Harrison

“A very strong debut from a very talented musician. Some great tracks supplemented with clever songwriting and the vast infusion of genres makes this debut record a really unique piece of work. 9/10” The Music Blog 42

With his four-piece band, they create an upbeat and energetic live show, which encourages the audience to dance and have fun. Harrison’s indie-funk sound has been described as ‘one of the best projects to come out of Bury St Edmunds’ and he is keen to make a big impact on the Leeds music scene.
