A power hit of indie infused grunge from Leeds.
Championed and supported by BBC introducing’s Alan Raw.
Formed 2014, they kicked off with a nod along indie sound and generated a committed fan base, selling out venues such as The Wardrobe, Oporto, and 360 Club. In 2015/6 they had a year out.
They’re back with a new and bigger sound and even more energy.
They are one of the most eye catching, ear grabbing bands Leeds has to offer.
‘Oasis Who? Northern Comfort are ready to take over the Leeds indie Music scene’ – Halfway to Nowhere
“What a band! Amazing!.” – Bradford Brewery
‘A high-energy live band, who are great at getting the crowd going, with quality original songs to match’ – The Elephant Trees
‘Rising from the ashes of 90s Britpop, Northern Comfort have the swagger of Oasis with a modern twist of catchy choruses and solid melodies’ – Conflare
‘Loud spikey in your face rock n roll’ – XFM This Feeling
‘Make sure you’re down to catch their loud set’ – Gigslutz
The loudest indie rock band to come out of Leeds as of recent. Their late 60s blues influences with modern indie sprinklings create a detailed unique sound that sets them apart. Expect very loud and brash live presence. You will remember this one.
A three piece from Leeds – born out of listening to far too much guitar music and new to the scene – expect distorted guitars, smashed drums with well-crafted melodic vocals.
